want to know what kind of ambilobe panther chameleon do you think looks better blue bar or red bar.

I like blues. My male is blue bar on yellow with red bits on his head, belly spots and tail stripes. There seems to be some faint green near the top of his dorsal crest, too.

I have to say though, I'm a BIG fan of the Pure Blue Bars. Can't find many Pure Red Bars.

Both - in the same lizard! My guy's a blue bar bloodline, and is capable of displaying handsome blue bars (the best example I saw was when he went to the vet and was not at all happy about it), but he generally tends more towards a red or burgandy bar. I've heard of panthers being, say, red bar for a year or so then suddenly "deciding" that they're really blue bar after all.

or yellow bodies... hell any panther looks good... give me an ugly panther over an attractive Beardie any day.

I haven't figured out why he changes red at times and blue at other times. But it's pretty cool anyway.

you know, i like the red bars a bit more, its more stand offish with a green body..or yellow body. depending on the cham.
