I need some help on my 8 month old Jackson Chameleon , I've notice a blk bumb on the left side of his body right above he's left arm resembles like a pimple ??? I notice it about 3 weeks, ago I assumed it mite go away on it's own thinking it had to do with it's shedding. But today hd shed and its still there. He hunts and eats right , drinks good amount if water and hex very active roams around cage and climbs with no problem. I took him to a local pet shop but if wasn't much help so I called a exotic pet shop that has a veterinarian that goes once a month and charges $15 bucks for examination bcz the fee for a walk in for reptiles is 86.00 bucks. So in taking him on the 24th of this month but I'm seeking any time if help or an idea of what the blk Bumb ( pimple ) mite be and how bad could it be?? It doesn't look like it's spreading , it's just a small pimple like bumb

Welcome to the forums. If you post a picture that would be very helpful. I think you are doing the right thing getting a vet to check it out.

Please post a pic. a closup if possible.

Do you ever give him warm showers?

I take my 2 quart sprayer bottle and microwave it until the water is warm but
not hot.
I open his cage door and spray him directly with the warm water.

He LOVES it, it gets him clean, cleans his eyes and stimultes drinking.

I continue to spray until the bottle is empty, or my hand goes numb, whichever comes first!!

Some one posted some time ago about their cham had a cyst like a pimple and his vet had him soak the cham in warm water for 30 or so mins a day and he said the bump whent away.

If it gets bigger, or does not go away on its own in a few days, I would take him to a vet.

I've never heard of someone recommending a 30 minutesoak for a cham! It would be extremely stressful for one!
