I had them for a short time, but my chams did not like them...
How do you know they didn't like them?
My male would catch one, chew on it and sometimes spit it out and would watch the rest run around in the cup and would not attempt to eat them again. Those things, once you get them going, multiply like roaches!...ha!
I'll have to try and find out. That's funny that he would spit it out lol.
Well, I think they are fat free and taste like chicken![]()
Hey, alexbrock have you tried giving butterworms to your cham?
I think my only complaint about them is that once in a cage they just hide somewhere and never move, so the chams don't eat them. And then there's a roach hiding somewhere in the cage and that just drives me up a wall with my fear of roaches. So cupfeeding or hand/tweezerfeeding becomes a must, in my opinion. Otherwise they are super easy to house and feed off. I keep mine in a 105 qt plastic storage bin with large holes in the lid meshed over and lots of egg crates. And then I just feed them, and feed them off. So pretty easy!
Nope, have not tried them. But I saw the pics of your cham. Looks pretty bad, how is he doing?
