i noticed this spot around the 25th. looking around i found it could be a burn, or a fungal infection though im sure there are more possibilities. i was using a 75w spotlight basking bulb, but recently switched to a basic 60w incandescent because it burnt out. I did use a 100w basking bulb, the big incandescents they sell for reptiles for about a few hours between the switch. his basking spot is about 4" from the light. there was also a time where he was RIGHT under the light for a few hours. the basking spot isnt too hot with the back of the hand test, and the tank temperature varies between 75-85. the humidity varies, hard to maintain humidity in the screen tanks. I mist once or twice a day, he has access to running water. there is a yucca elephantipes in the cage. the first picture was taken the day i noticed, the other 2 were taken today. I noticed that the scales surrounding seem to all be pointing inward toward the spot. if needed I could upload a cropped, zoomed picture of the spot.
