Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Donnie. Veiled Chameleon, Male, 3 yrs 3 months. Has been in my care since sept. 2009
Handling - Not very Often, He's a grouch at times
I occasionally take him out of his cage once or twice a week.
Feeding - Crickets, super worms, veggies. 7 days of the week, feeding starts Sunday then I feed Every other day.
Supplements - D-3, cal, multi. cal twice every week, D-3 once every week, multi once every month.
Watering - Have a spray which holds the spray when I pump, once to twice every day, 10-20 mins.
Fecal Description - Brown poo, white urine sometimes yellow.
History - nope. recently had his tail amputated due to it being necrotic.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - screen, 2x4 ft.
Lighting - UV bulb 10.0 repti glo, heating bulb 60 watt (that blue one that always seems to fuse out, seriously.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - Plant keeps humidity. Recently removed because it was old. I have been keeping him outside at times. I live in Miami, FL.
Plants - Umbrella plant.
Placement - In my room, or outside in my backyard.
Location - Miami, FL.
Current Problem - Recently had his tail amputated due to it being necrotic.
he is fine and eating as usual, one thing after he got his amputation, I saw this dark spot, tiny underneath his belly/chest area. At first I thought it was a bruise, but then days turned into a week/or two. Now I'm a little worried. I doubt bruises take this long to go away...or I don't know.
