Black dots?

I always like to check my cham once hes asleep and tonight i noticed he has black dots on his side and casque what is this there not mites is it bad and what can i do?

how long have they been there? i know i have seen individual scales "dots" on my guy turn black for a day or two then they go back to green. i have no idea what it was or why it happened but he's fine. but if his whole belly turns black i've recently learned thats septicemia. so definitely worry about something on that scale.
