Now my chameleon is getting bigger, what a bigger food source, and where to get it online? Any recommendations.
Currently feed larger crickets and jumbo meal worms, he goes through them fast.
Many on the forum would recommend not to feed meal worms and instead feed super worms, no more than 2 a day. I don't have any sites to recommend tho I'm afraid. Live on the wrong side of this planet.
Have you tried out Dubia roaches yet? They work as good as base food as crickets and are easy to come by and raise.
Check out the site sponsors - there are several who sell feeder bugs. Ghanns, Lindas Gone Buggy, Coastal Silkworms, Great Lakes Hornworms, Mantis Place, I'm sure there are others, too, that I forgot.
Superworms, silkworms (although everyone seems to be out currently, Hornworms, and blue bottle flies would be good to add to the diet.
My chameleons love adult Black Soldier flies! I also have Dubia cockroaches. I live in an area out in the boondocks (there is no spraying of crops near by) so, in the summer I catch grasshoppers for my reptile children. I break off the jumping legs (they have sharp points to them) before feeding.
