That is the best way, but if you cannot afford it at the moment, you can hand mist 3 times a day.

Yes, very true. Sorry, I use a glass enclosure, so I alone control the humidity.

But remember, long soaks (shower), are recommended at least once a week if you can’t provide those types of showers in the enclosure.

If for what ever reason you think you have gotten behind in hydrating your cham then you can always give a shower. "Place a large plant in the tub, aim the shower head against the wall, and run the water so that only a fine mist reaches the chameleon. The water should be room temperature (not hot!). They may drink for up to 30 minutes. Make sure to supervise your chameleon at all times while using this method."
