Before I start buying

For 2 enclosures (2x2x4)

zilla desert 50 uvb fluorescent t5 bulb.

Would one be too much? It seems to be the only 48" bulb that I can find in a UVB form and T5.

(PS I'm determined to keep hibiscus, and in northern MN its impossible to do outdoors, so the lights are for plants for the chammies)

Or there's T8 (4 lamps as previous) where I can get a 5.0 uvb. So I think I answered my own question, mostly. But I'm unsure those would support high light loving plants?

Im not sure why, but the t5 24/48 inch fixtures use a bulb that is 2" shorter than their length. 24" fixture=22" bulb etc etc. confused the hell outta me at first

you do not want the desert series. The tropical series is ok.

See, that's part of the issue. Some are, some aren't depending on the type (brand) of bulb. I think I may have to order what I want, and then whip out a tape measure.
