Oh, and they sustain their selves! Just feed them and sit back...![]()
I know how your feeling... I'm not going to drop any names but... a few individuals better start being a little more appreciative.
I'm wanting to start a feeder group with some people on here were each person breeds one type of insect. We would just pitch in for the initial investment for all of the equipment and eggs/larvae. Then we could maintain a large variety of feeders without having to spend 10 hours a day cleaning and maintaining that many different insects.
I am doing that already. All of Montana is working on breeding different feeder - oops -!i forgot I am the whole state of Montana chameleon keepers.![]()
This is a genius Idea!!!
Would this be a bartering ring? If I send you 100 hissers you send me 1000 horn/silk eggs, etc?

Ha! Yeah I got the WORMZ!
I have a ton of Egyptian mantids going, but to tell the truth I don't think I will breed them because the feeding cost seems disproportionate.
What?!? You holding out on me?? I didn't know you had mantids. What's the deal on them?
Well had them for weeks and they aren't very big. They eat a ton of fruit flys and hornworms!
