Beardie help?

Hi guys,

Need help with my beardie if anyone can help me!!

He's about 4 years old (I think, as we had him of someone else). For some reason, he has developed a swollen eye. It doesn't seem to be causing him any trouble, and he can still open and close it but it's just quite red and swollen. We have used this ointment in his eye but it's not making a lot of difference. What could it be. I read somewhere it could be a vitamin A deficiency?

Thanks

It could be as simple as an eye infection caused by a scratch or just yucky bacteria-I would take him to the Vet if something like Terramycin does not help in a short period of time.

Ok thanks. I mean it's not major swollen or anything it's just a little swollen and a little gooey. I think also he could just have some skin in there as he just had a full shed. Will probably just see how it is for a few days and if it's no better a vet visit might be in hand.

What brand and type (spiral, compact, long linear fluorescent) UVB light are you using?

What supplements and how often for each?

What do you feed?
What do you feed to the insects?

had a simular problem vet said it was caused by vitamin A deficany gave me some baytril eye drops and told me to get some calcium with vitamin A in and dust twice a week
also said it could be cause by spiral uv bulb

cleared up within ten days
