Baytril side effects?

So, Squee has finished his 10 day doses of Baytril for his infection.

He didnt get any med yesterday, but acts lethargic.
He was on the free range, and has a strong grip, but seems tired and sluggesh.
I was wondering if the Baytril causes him to feel weak, upset, or something.
I know Baytril can cause them to loose their appitite and not want to drink.
He is drinking, but not eating much.

Does anyone know when these side effects of Baytril will ware off?

Mine has had no reaction to baytril and he has been on it about 8 days now

My melleri that was just on it was very lethargic. I force fed 2ml of pedialyte, 3 times a day to keep him hydrated because he wouldn't drink much at all. 3 weeks later he was great. He also happened to have a bad roundworm infestation on top of that, so that wasn't helping. I'm treating him now wot he panacur and he's passed quite a few large worms through his wastes.

I've never seen any side affects caused by the Baytril. If they weren't eating or were lethargic it was because of the infection I was trying to treat with the Baytirl not because of the medication.

Just make sure he is drinking a lot as Baytril can cause bigger issues organ wise if he becomes dehydrated by it.

Well, that is pretty much how Squee is, only he does drink, and will eat like, one silky (I make sure to pick out a nice fat one) a day!!
So I do not have to force anything on him right now.
I did though, last week, I had to give him bug juice with a pipette a few times.

Just like people drug side effects, everyone is different.

He acts fine, he is just a bit lethargic.

Now that the dosage is over see how he perks up. Mine almost always end up with anorexia halfway into the treatment and end up less active. But usually a few days after the last dose they start getting hungry and walk around more again.

My Meller's, Guinevere, is a slow chameleon to begin with, but during and after antibiotics she's like the stone chameleon - she wouldn't go absolutely anywhere until she felt better!

I had to offer food several times a day because he would only eat one roach and then rest. I was offering food five to six times a day. Hopefully Squee will come around soon.

He is drinking from his little orange drip cap as I type this, so he is getting around okay.
He still avoids getting under the basking bulb, even though it's now far enough away from the wound on his spine. I think it will take some time to heal.

The ointment the vet gave me (Mupirocin 2%) to put on his wound tends to 'melt' and get all over him.
He looks like a glazed doughnut
I have been sponging him with warm water to clean it off as best I can.
