hi people been looking at these forums now for quite some time but not posted,
News my time to shine haha
Got a question what hopefully somebody will be able to help me with..
If I'm getting the correct temperature in my basking spot,
Does it matter that the bulbs not running at 100% status
As I can't seem to get it too stay over 75%

I think I know what you mean, but not 100% certain. I think you probably have an inline dimmer switch on your basking fixture and it's not "all the way up?" If so, yea, that's fine. You're interested in the correct temp. If you've go the correct temp that's all that matters. The brightness of your basking bulb is secondary and there should be enough light from your UVB, depending on what setup you have.

I'm running it on a microclimate and was advised that the bulb should be running at 100%,
But no matter how far I move the lamp away from the basking spot where the probe is,
It won't run at 100% even thow the temp it fine.
I'm not doubting the person who advised as they really know there reptiles,
Just wanted a second opinion on what to do and to find out for sure it's correct.
