banana tree?

i read on a site somewhere that dwarf banana trees are ok for chams as their non toxic, is this so?

I have one inside two of my enclosures.
They fill up space very well, and add a tropical feel to the inside of the cage.
I use a plant light, reptisun 5.0, and a standard house bulb over all my cages.
The banana tree is doing will under this type of lighting for about 2 months.

I think they are fine.
Food is often prepared and served in banana leaves.

im using 10.0reptiglo and 75watt neodymium spot lamp outside the mesh, they should be fine then

Hope you have a big enclosure...because it is a type of grass. they grow pretty quickly. It should look very nice though.

Banana Trees do grow quickly, but they are not grass.
