Ive been off the forums for awhile now as i moved away for college. Im in a dorm now, and im not allowed to have pets buts thats not going to stop me. I was at petco today, ik many hate these stores, but they had a steal on a panther. Im pretty sure female but for 150, thats not a bad deal. They also have a nice cb female jacksons sub adult for 140. Im deffinatly getting a chameleon next week, just would like somebody to share their thoughts. Ive never kept a panther yet and id like to get a male if possible. Already getting all the old cage stuff out for cleaning.

A good price on a panther sure, but this particular thing is what I would be worried about. You do know that colleges perform routine inspections of dorms right? Kind of hard to hide a huge chameleon cage.... just sayin. Is the possibility of getting kicked out of your dorm room really worth the trouble? By all means, do as you wish. I'm just pointing out the obvious...

Yes, ik. We have safety inspections like every 2 months, im getting an apt soon so not that worried. Also, im not a beginner by all means, been keeping chams for about 4 or 5 years now.

Im glad u are revealed little bit more information as on ur first post was mentioned regarding about ur chameleon care owner history,as far as the deal u saw in the pet store, that will be totally up to u to purchase them, and here is my opinion,if their health conditions n living environment are in the exceptional situation,I will say go for it ,try ask the petstore as many questions as u can think of during ur 4 or 5 years experience, and Im sure you already know the answer!
