Baby Panthers (secret eaters?!?!)

I had my very first clutch of panthers start to hatch a month ago. So some of them are a month old and the rest are 2 days to 3 weeks old. They are all very healthy looking. For the most part I can see significant growth (especially in the older babies).
Now I've been through tons and tons of tiny crickets and fruit flys but I havnt ever witnessed them eating. Not a single one.
Just seems a little weird because they are growing fine and they have gone through so much food.
My question is when do they eat. Are they nocturnal eaters as babies or do they eat during the day when no one is looking?

My veiled rarely if every ate in front of me. She always did it while I was a good distance away. If I snuck up on her I could catch her eating but for the most part she didn't want to eat when I could see her. Maybe some sort of instinct to avoid predation in the wild?

My veiled is the same way, always put 20-25 crickets in his feeding bowl every morning and there are only 5-10 left in the evening. Have only ever seen him eat maybe 2 or 3 in front of me and thats the day I got him.

Follow the paper trail, or poop trail as I call it. If you see tiny poops everywhere, they are eating. What go's in must go out. Panther babies pause feeding if they think their being watched.
