Baby had some 'leggings' from her shed finally come off. She was much happier afterward!

So adorable! Mellers are def on my wish list one day, and it's pics like that that make me wish "one day" was now! Good luck!

awh. looks like a little zebra. crazy how big its going to get!

The Melleri can get up to 24" long from nose to tail - but my little one was a "preemie" hatching and has been much smaller than normal for her age. I hope she grows up healthy and strong - big is fine - but time will tell.

When was your adorable little one hatched? Baby mellers are so sweet, and try to act so tough.

I believe the clutch hatched the first week of August - and she is just now @ 2.4 grams. I think the eggs incubated only 105 days - not sure what the temps were.

dang it everybody is getting baby mellers but me what the heck!!! i'm starting to get pissed!!!

OMG - I felt the same way for the past year! Lol. I couldn't find one anywhere - at any age. Unfortunately I had a bad experience before finding this clutch - which is why I bought 3 babies - and now I just have the one. I wanted one so bad and was so scared to get too attached. The smallest of the 3 is the one I currently have. She is definitely a tough little baby! I'm absolutely crazy about her. She is totally worth all the effort to care for her. :)

Such a little cutie Wendy. So adorable and so tiny.

Thanks, Jann. Yes she's still so tiny. My herp vet said to expect her to grow slowly since she was a preemie. It's been tricky getting the right bugs for her. She's a "mighty" little girl, tho. A survivor!

What a cute little baby!!!!!

Thank you! I was just admiring your young boy - he's gorgeous! How old is he now? It sounds like he's a sweetie like my male Ambilobe, Kirby. He's shedding again and he's learned that if he comes TO me and stares long enough I'll pet him and rub off some of the itchy shed he needs help getting off. It's become a ritual and it steals my heart every time. I view these chams as 'wild' even if domesticated. So to connect like that - and like you have described with your guy - is a really amazing experience!! Keep the pics coming of your sweetie - he's gonna just get more beautiful! He already is!
