So after exactly 9 months and some odd days, the babies decided to come out. There was one that hatched out 4 weeks ago ahead of the clutch (May 26, 2011) and we think he may be a hold back. He is showing colors in the sun but I can't take quality pics with my blackberry so here are pictures that my brother recently took of the pack!
P.S. The second one hatched about 2 weeks after the first one and they have been hatching gradually over the last few weeks.
Their mom is from Amazing Blue Reptiles' Flash line. She was the the biggest out of her clutch and has a green head (which is weird lol). Their dad is my Sebastian. Seen here
Some of the babies are showing green and some are showing yellow. I am very curious as to what they will actually look like coming from a yellow background blue bar, and a red body blue bar Ambilobe.
I have been playing zoo keeper over the last few weeks between work and training for my 100k bicycle ride, and boy am I tired.
Oh and if you are wondering, the babies will probably be going to friends and family only, most likely, so sorry =(. But, I will be filtering out the ones who want them because they can, and, the ones who really want a chameleon. I don't care if they are family, if they are ill prepared to take care of one, I will not be giving them one. So, who knows, I might have a few left over =)
