remove the babies from the adults... you don't want them to become lunch.

as for fruit flies you need to buy a culture that is already underway. They are flightless so they won't go anywhere.

I do not know much about jackson babies.... but I am pretty sure you need to keep them humid and most likely around the low-mid 70's.

I would use a Rubbermaid container with paper towel on the bottom (get the towels wet once inside so they keep the moisture up in the container) and little sticks that the babies can grip with some leaves for water to bead up on when you mist them. As for more detail you'll have to do some searching. There is a web page out there that goes into detail about jackon care, not sure if it covers babies though. Open up Google and do some searching. ;)

I dont know where to get a culture none of the pet stores on this island sell them. I live in Hawaii. Do I need air holes in the container wait that was stupid.

Can you get your hands on pinhead crickets? Tiny crickets?

Keep them in a tub with sticks going over it so the babies have something to strike at them from

Good luck :D

... p.s. get some pictures up ;)

tiny crickets yes! what about meal worms? and ill get to those pictures working on the plastic containers right now. and as of online, nothing ships to HI.

Mealworms are a no-no. Bad chitin(shell) to meat ratio. If you can find baby superworms (zoophobas morio) that would be a better choice than mealworms.

Dubia nymphs, roach nymphs.. pinhead crickets..

ohk crickets it is. you guys rock. as soon as I get them situated in their new homes later Ill post pictures for you guys ont his thread if thats possible. or Ill figure it out.

Something else to look into is silkworms. Mulberry Farms ships eggs world wide. Order yourself some eggs and chow powder and start your own batch of silkies. They are super easy. I started out with 1000 eggs and now I have soo many worms and caccoos it's crazy. All my chams love them.......Even my month old Jacksons;)
