My mom said I can get an axolotl or two so I want to get one! I was wondering where I could buy some, my brother is a fish expert and I am good at reptile stuff so I think it will work out well I've done research and continue to do it. I'm thinking of naming them Gary and Gerald

Congrats on your pick of new pet. They are fun to keep and very prolific.
1. Are you looking for eggs, baby, juvies, adult and morph.
2. As I am sure you are doing your homework, they require a nice size tank (which your bro can assist you with) (y) .
3. Depending on above size-- There are some in the Craigslist in Northern VA

This will get ya started if you have not searched already.

Note: The ones sold as bait are actually tiger salamander larva (tadpoles) aka water dogs. I don't think they are for sale anymore because they would get off the fishing line and survive. Which would cause an overload of an invasive species into some of the lakes and streams.

That being said: CA does not allow them and I am no longer updated with fish and game rules for other states.

So I have a 20 gallon is that enough? I would eventually want to upgrade to a 40 or 55

So I'm thinking of naming it Gerald. Also I'm in debt 120$ rn but I have a job that allows me to get 10$ a day so after I get enough money I will buy it! Probably February or March

Here's the one I'm thinking about
