the average age isnt very old they can be from 5-8ish but if taken ood care of. They dont have incredibly long life spans but in captivity they can live for awhile

7yrs is old! The guy i got my 1st cham from had a veiled that was 7. He was so old and laid back he looked like a buddha. He only moved for food. lol

My old man had the typical veiled attitude up until the day before he died. He moved around a bit, but he moved the most for food. I think part of the reason why he lived so long is because I fed him a little less than average.

I've had quite a few females live to be 6+ or even 7+ and males that have lived to be over 8.
