Attitudinal Camo

So my previously super sweet old guy, Camo has developed quite the attitude since he's been living in his new cage which is now about 7 feet off the ground at his basking spot! I guess he thinks he's more dominant than I am now that he's 'taller' than me! Everytime I go near him he hisses and prepares to strike! Gotta love the little jerk - I'm glad he's got the confidence to be mean to the person who dotes on him!!

He looks gorgeous when he's angry :) How long has he been in his new house? Does he seem to like it when you don't go near him or do you think there might be something he doesn't like about the new place?
He might just really like and want to defend his new territory of course, my boy was a bit feistier when he moved into a new home, but that was during his 'teenage' phase too.........

David he's been in his new cage for exactly a week! For the past 3.5 years he's been in an enclosure that was situated on a table at the end of my couch so the height he's at now is a big change but a positive one. He seems to enjoy it immensely but if I get too close, he puff's up and prepares to strike! At this point it seems he's being territorial which I'm hoping will lessen once he realises this is his 'forever' home.

I kinda like the feisty attitude, he's getting up there in age so I like to see that he's got some life in him yet!! ;)
