At what point do I look in on Chloe? Laying.

She started digging yesterday morning, 8-ish, and I haven't seen her since. I covered her cage only leaving the very top visible which I'm hoping that's where she'll emerge eventually, her basking spot and general living are. I know this can take up to 3 days but I'm still a bit worried. Should I be supplying water? I don't have an auto misting system and I don't want to interrupt. Hope she's ok.

Is there any way for you to take a peek quick enough that she won't see you?

Is there a way you can peak in for like a second? I peak in just to make sure everything is ok, in case something goes wrong.

From my understanding, she's still in her enclosure? If so if you can't spray from the top of the cage so she can't see you, then I personally would spray.

She finally came up guys. Am I to assume she's done now? The soil has definitely been shifted all around. She looks flatter, I think, (she's basking, puffing up) and covered in soil. She ate about 7 dusted crickets so far and I misted her for a long time, till she got sick of it.

A question haven't seen covered myself: Do I dig up the eggs in front of her, Is it OK? Or should I do it when she's on her tree or something? In other words, not looking?

Oh, and yes Chase, she's in her enclosure. I put a big, deep, laying bin taking up the whole bottom almost.

You can take the bin out and dig them out. I would assume she's done, since she's is up and out of the bin.

Take the laying bin out and dig them up.

She probably won't realise. I don't think they get protective over their eggs once laid.

If you start noticing her searching by the bottom of the enclosure you may want to place the bin back in just to be sure. Did she drink a lot after? It can be tough on their systems. Hope she is feeling well and none the worse for wear after the task .
