Anyone know how to breed and feed super worm beetles?

I found a couple beetles in my super bucket today, and I thought I'd breed them cuz I got a Nosey be clutch 4 months in. Plus I have no idea how to feed them.:eek::D:(:):eek::p:cool:;)

Sure I do, easiest thing in the world to breed. Put the beetles in a shoebox size plastic container. Add 1 1/2 inches media. I use wheat/brand, some people just use uncooked oatmeal. Break up some egg cartons into pieces that would hold 4 eggs. Put 5 or 6 of those in. I feed mine things that are NOT very liquid. Carrot & apple are my regulars, but even apples get messy. Add beetles , you should hope for at least 20 beetles. Put the container in a dark warm place. wait almost forever - do NOT toss the stuff the beetles are in. That is where the babies worms will appear, but it really does seem like forever.

If you want more beetles take the biggest, fattest superworms, put each one in a container like a butter tub. Put a couple small holes in the top. Do not feed water or disturb for a week. Then open and check, put it away and check a week later. First stage they look dead, 2nd stage looks like a larvae stage (ugh) last stage is beetles. Getting beetles also takes a long time.

And questions just shoot me a pm. Enjoy.
