Anoles

I've heard that veiled chams eat anoles. If I kept a bunch of anole males and females to breed could I feed the babies to him when he gets bigger as a treat? I figured I'd have to start now since he is young and growing fast.
 
That is a debatable issue amongst us chameleon enthusiasts. Yes you can, maybe feeding 1-2 a month or so. Others are against feeding other lizards and pinkies to chameleons, even though this feeding hierarchy happens in the wild daily.

I believe it is actually illegal to feed live vertebrates to animals in the U.S., but then again snakes eat live mammals...

I'm not sure. But I do no some people are disgusted with the idea...
 
I believe it is illegal in the U.K., but not the U.S. It varies from state to state i believe. As far as breeding anoles simply for feeders, you got your work cut out for you. You'd be better off just collecting. But then you run the risk of parasites.
