i took these on day 1 after building it. then i "conditioned" the wood for the stain, then stained it and today, day 2, i sealed it with the lacquer. Tomorrow i will put in the screen sides and the bottom :D

i hope she likes it. its 3 feet tall (with 2ft legs), 2.5 feet across and 1.5 feet deep.
i still worry about giving her too much space. she still loses her grip every now and then.

all the wood, screen, and hardware (screws, "L" brackets etc.) was only 33 bucks!

But the stain and lacquer was another 35 :p

a gallon of paint would have been cheaper

Looks good. With her still having grip issues, I would not put a solid bottom in it. Use a screen for now. You may need to install a brace or 2 for plants to sit on. I just installed a couple of 1/2s across the bottom on my latest project.
