Amazing Break Through! Cannot Believe this Happened!!

Well, i never would have dreamed, let alone hoped that this would happen as quickly as it did. This is the first time i have tried this. I was feeding Isis, my Female Veil, Phoenix worms, I take one in the tweezers, and drop it in her feeding dish ( plastic shallow cup ) and back away the tweezers. After 10 min she took the first one from the cup. This was Incredible progress!!!

But wait, theres more!!

Next, she took a worm in 1 minuet. Crazy Progress, this was with me moving the tweezers only 4 inches from the cup. I repeated this about 6 times, She ate them all! Unbelievable at this point. ( normally she hisses and strikes at me, then retreats to the top when i unzip her hanger) The next 4 worms i gave her, she took without me moving the tweezers. At this point i figured that things couldn't get any better!!!!:D

Here is the best news. I held one in the tweezers for about 12 min, ( god my arm was numb!) Slowly, she started to eye it .. and Bam! She at from the tweezers!!!
Totally made my night!!!

God i love progress!

:D:D:D

Congrats. I'm happy for you :D. Sadly though it's kinda ironic that you post this tonight because I started a thread about having the exact opposite situation a little earlier with cup feeding :(. But again good for you :)

it was the first thing she ever fed out of when i put her in her new home once she arrived, its the only food area she knows, Plus once they are hungry, they will generally accept it.

But thanks!!! So pumped!

Haha good to hear !! Make sure rest that arm now. :D

Haha, its such an awkward angle to hold something at, the cup is elevated, but the only acess to the hanger is the zipper door at the lower part of the hanger, so you have to put your whole arm in, so you must raise your arm and then twist it around and such haha. Need to move it lower.

Hahaha my arm has actually been sore from that haha just wait until tomorrow.....:D

Haha i'm kinda used to it, i'm an archer + an archery instructor so i'm kinda used to holding my arm out there, just an awkward angle.

She is so cute, just went in to turn out the lights and she's sitting by the cup lookin for more!!!

So, i put some greens in there in hopes that she may start eating greens too!

Congrat I'm glad she is doing that much progress and trust me I know the feeling good for you 
