Amazing appetite!

Someone mentioned a growth spurt to me earlier, in another thread, and they couldn't be more right!

Baron, my 4.5 month old Veiled Chameleon, just had his first shedding this week and his appetite since then has been incredible! I think he'll eat as many crickets as I put into the feeder cup

The crickets are loaded w/ Mustard greens, Fluckers, and then dusted every other day.

Well get ready for a big slow down

Seems everyone on here experiences some kind of hunger strike around 7-10 months old in a veiled. Either that or it's related to the winter season. I don't know as my veiled hit 7 months right around late fall.

Thanks for that bit of info So when in a couple months when he stops eating, I won't completely freak out. Hah.

It can be super frustrating, and your cham will require more observation at that point. It's the number reason to cup feed. I'd highly recommend cup feeding for that reason.
