My 2 panthers are healthy and she is just over a year old.

She is showing alot of pink once in awhile and at this point I try and put the 2 together.

Example of what I do, I'll take her out (she loves coming out) and put her up to the males terrarium (glass enclosure, climates in the winter aren't good in a basement for heat...

Once she is right up to his tank she'll try and climb into the tank and up one of his several vines, she'll walk slow or just sit there and she'll seem fine until he's about a half a foot away from her then she'll puff up and gape and all of that, do you think she's just a little nervous or something but is partly ready?

The pic of her that I have, her black lines are much blacker, this was about 20 seconds after I took her out of his terrarium...

One of the coolest pics of my male, everyone at work that sees this on my home/lock screen on my iphone asks what the hell it is, one person said it almost has a hypnotizing effect:

If the male is placed in her cage and she retreats or shows signs of stress, then she isnt ready. Usually the female will allow the male to come up from behind it. Your case Im not 100% sure. Google a bit and look around on here if no one gives you a definite answer. Best of luck.

I take her out to his cage because hers is too small for 2, it's my males old one however when the one I want (same one I have for my male) goes on sale again ill be getting another one (maybe 2 for when they do successfully mate and I have baby ones).

doesn't sound like she is ready to mate. It is hard to tell, but the picture makes her abdomin area look very large. Is it that big?
