Hi all. I've been running an algae scrubber on my marine tank now for a few years. I currently throw the algae away every fortnight (about 250g squeezed weight) but thought it may make a good food for my roaches, calci worms and crickets. I've done a quick search and it seems algae should be dried out first but can't find a reason as to why (obviously I would rinse in freshwater and squeeze out). So I guess the question is "has anyone grown saltwater algae to feed there bugs?" and if so, did they survive?
