Air purifiers anyone?

Sometimes in one of my bedrooms where Google is it tends to get stuffy is it okay to use an air purifier?
I thought about placing it about four feet away from the cage.
It's a rather old device, any input on brands or ways to circulate the air around?
I mean he's housed in an aluminum screen cage but the air can still get stagnant.

As long it does not spray some weird chemical deodorizer or something, I don't see why not.. is it the one with UVC light inside? or the one with HEPA and carbon filter thing?
