Nothing ever previously wrong with Yemen Cham.
9 month old female yemen. Perfectly healthy. Rampant eater and drinker.
Still drinking. Not taken food for a few days willingly but will eat if put in front of her.
This morning I heard her squawk/burp. Firsttly never heard this noise and did no this was possible.
Later on this morning I heard her sought of cough but then notice her gasping out with air and her tongue coming out slightly.

Wasnt sure if this was random or not. Tried googling it.
Not noticed her do it again.
Worried sometihng might be wrong with her tongue. Etc.

Your Chameleon - Female yemen 10 Months old. Been in my care since she was 2 months.
Handling - Several times a day.
Feeding - Locusts/Crickets wax worms.Fruit/Veg Every other day to feed.
Supplements - Calcium One a week. Multivits monthly
Watering - Has a waterfall and a fogger. Use fogger occasionly water always. Has a daily shower.
Fecal Description - Perfectly norm.
History - No previous problems.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Extra large wooden viv
Lighting - Exoterra D3 UV tube. basking light (100W). Light on for 13 hours.
Temperature - Basking 30. Bottom cage 20.
Humidity - Humidity 30-40%.
Plants - edible plants
Placement -
Location - Oxford

She's being handled a LOT which may be making her reactive. Maybe she's attempting to vocalize her bluffing. Your supplement schedule is a bit off...you should be dusting daily with plain calcium (no added D3), using calcium with D3 once a week at most, and the vitamins monthly. Your humidity is a bit low. If she's getting into the waterfall she could ingest some nasty bacteria from drowning feeders or fecal matter contamination. Waterfalls are a headache to keep clean.
