I'm just thinking ahead about a suitable vivarium for my chameleon. He's around 5 months old at present. He's currently in a 45x45x60 vivarium.

Would one 30cms taller suffice? Most I'm seeing are wider rather than taller, which wouldn't suit an arboreal reptile.

Any advice you can give me on the above matter would be much appreciated folks.

So you have 18"x18" by 24" high now.
36" high would be better.

This seems to pretty much be a "the bigger the better" quest with emphasis on height.

Is your present enclosure ALL screen?

I'm asking because I am wondering if you could get another of the same and stack them by taking the top out of one and the bottom from the other and SECURELY attach them.
Then you would at least have 18"X18" and 48" high.
(45x45x120 cm)

Sure, a new 24"X24"x48" set up might be the best answer,
but new can be expensive.

Wire mesh lid, the bottom is solid. It's OK to buy a new one, moneys not a problem lol
