That just makes me crazy mad when I see people let their pets go downhill like that.
If they had any brains at all, they would have let her go way before they did. Who knows maybe it would not have ended this way.
You are a wonderful person to take her in, inspite of her condition. Please don't let this stop you from enjoying chameleon ownership. Sounds like you will be a very good owner to your other little guy.

well i hate to see pets go downhill like this, but realeasing any pet into the wild is a horrible idea. There are many many examples of environments/animals that have been destroyed due to this.
Plus he is in North Carolina, that environment wouuld of killed her the first day released.
