Adding to Mistking Reservoir

I'm just curious if anybody adds anything to their mistking reservoir. For example liquid calcium or Water Conditioner. I'd like to atleast put water conditioner in my reservoir but my concerns is that this could potentially damage or mess up the mistking pump. I know it might seem silly but I have no idea whats is in these items and how they can effect the pump. They could stick or clog up something for all i know....your thoughts?

diaphragm pumps are really only susceptible to debris.... adding something to the water to make it 'safe' for chams won't harm the pump.... if it harmed the pump, your cham would be dead.
