Acclimating?

Okay for those who have seen my other posts know I have been having some trouble recently. With the popping noises and all I thought it was a URI. This morning the popping was more then usual so to keep an eye on my little guy I removed some of the plastic sheet I had on the sides to help with the humidity. After a little while it stopped. He seems pretty happy as far as I can tell he ate around 12-15 crickets today and drank. I will be updating this every once and awhile in case anyone wants to know what is happening.

Because I know you might ask

Current Problem - popping and not sure why.

I just got him back from the breeders on Tuesday and they didn't see any behavior like this. I have been observing him and I dont see much saliva at all he eats like a bottomless pit. Very active all over the place. I think he might be acclimating (he came from Virginia to Albuquerque) the air is different and he might be trying to adjust. Like I said I am not entirely sure but I will update

Dont gutload with tomatoes they are poisonous and where is the popping noises coming from?
Thank you for the heads up on the tomatoes, will not be doing that again. The popping noises seem to be coming from the throat. He does no open his mouth to make the pop it just happens every once an a while. This pop started right out of the container and he would fill up his throat with air and release it. There is a video of it let me see if I can find it. This is my fourth day with him and the popping seems to get lighter and lighter. I don't really see him open his mouth and I have looked inside and see no bubbles or excess saliva.

This is the link to the video. As you can see the throat fills with air then releases. This was before I sent him back to the breeders for care. After he returned (3 weeks later) he still did it but not with them at all. This doesn't happen anymore he does not fill his throat up like that and he doesn't pop once I take him out of his cage.
