A year looking back

I can't believe it's been a year since I became an active member! Just wanted to thank everyone for answering mine and others' questions, providing links and pictures and overall good, positive feedback from the chameleon community.
Hopefully in a month (after my beach trip) I'll be buying a kreation! I am so ecstatic, I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. It's been such an amazing learning process, I'm so thankful for this forum. I'm very glad that I was able to piece together my setup. Wow, can this hobby be expensive!?! I'm easily $500 in, not counting the cham himself, and I still don't have everything I want!
I've just started building the dowel rod frame to discourage screen climbing and putting together my mental picture of how I want my enclosure to look. Times were discouraging and overwhelming but I'm.so glad that I stuck it out.
You guys are awesome!

Well everyone likes pics so here's my almost complete set up. There are several things not pictured like more fake vines and ivy, big dripper, heat lamp, etc. I have a golden pothos with nice foilage and vines, but not sure how to suspend it from the top. Also, how do you guys cover the soil of the pothos? Or is it not a big deal? I love feedback lol

Lol, right on. Covering the soil for the schefflera won't be an issue but my pothos has a vine coming out of the soil every inch or less so I'm unsure about how to cover the soil.

I just pack river rock in any spot I can! The rest, I don't worry about! If there's a 1/8" gap, and a cham wants to stick their tongue through it, by all means, let them! Lol

I added some more vines, ivy, etc and more horizontal dowels! I'd say I'm about 98% complete. Still need to figure out how to mount/where to put the heat lamp and play with temps/wattage. And I need to set the big dripper up. I still have a few more vines and fake ivy stuff..
