ok, i know we arent supposed to plug non sponsors, but its not really intended as a plug, so if its an issue, the mods are free to take it down.
for years i have linked to this site in many of my posts as a source of liquid calcium glubionate (oral liquid calcium)its mostly a beardie site, but the site has a # of items/info that could be useful to chammers, and the list just keeps growing to a point were its hard not to mention the place.
i dont really like to encourage home treatment where i think vet care is called for, but even home treatment is preferable to no treatment at all and i realize there are always going to be those who try to replace what should be vet care with home treatment.
among the items they carry that might be of interest to chammers; calcium glubionate (oral liquid calcium), opthalmic terramycin (antibiotic eye ointment), they now carry Baytril and Flagyl NO SCRIPT RQUIRED), with no script ciproflaxin and no script amoxicillin soon to be added.
they also carry single unit small .5-1cc syringes that might be hard to get elsewhere without buying a case. small syringes are more useful for delivering meds, gavaging (force feeding) and injecting feeders than large syringes(more accurate and controlled delivery than large syringes. they also now carry an excellent surgical rubber feeder tip.
other items/info, that might be of interest to some chammers who do or are thinking about doing there own fecals. like fecasol. fecasol is cheap, so its typically sold in gallons, but when you take a $15 gal. and add $20 shipping to it, it may not seem cheap if you are only ever likely to use a couple of ounces. so they got small bottles for cheap with reasonable shipping. single unit fecalizers (the fecal float device) fecalizers are typically sold in cases of 25or 50. they also have a great laminated display of common reptile parasites for $5
as far as info, they also have a fairly complete nutritional database of common feeder items( although it admittedly pales in comparison to sandrachameleons nutritional blog). plus they have a very good nutritional/supplemental overview of the metabolic dynamic written in easy to understand terms, very helpful for somebody trying to decipher all of the multisourced info.
bear in mind its a beardie site, so imo their recommended supp regimens dont apply to chams, but most of it, very helpful info none the less.
enough said jmo here you go;

plus a portion of the proceeds go to a good reptile cause.
