Hey everyone, this thread may have no contents involving reptiles in general, but maybe the few snakes in show biz.
I really shouldn't be upset about something so silly, but its incredibly irritating when i see things on the internet about celebrities who commit crimes and simply walk away from them. This lindsay lohan character whom i have never followed gets sentenced to 30 days and serves 84 minutes, paris hilton sentenced to 35 days, and serves less then 60 minutes, Oj simpson...ya that guy did it, etc etc... With all this jabber about wall street and occupy this and that, what about fair treatment to everyone whom breaks the law. When was the last time one of your friends or relatives made a boo boo and drove drunk or maybe did something they shouldn't have and walked away from it...im guessing never, unless they had MONEY, so in complete relation to occupy wall street, it shouldn't matter how much money you have, you should be treated as a equal to the rest of society, why should money buy your freedom, or manipulate the judicial system. As a celebrity of all people you should set good examples for the kids, after all, what is the underlining message that's put out when a celebrity such as lindsay Lohan, Drives drunk high as a kite on coccain and steals a necklace worth more then my house....then walks away like a fart in church (i'll tell ya) "oh i suppose its ok to do though's things, the consequence is invisible, whats 60 minutes out of my day". Awesome judicial system we have, and a corrupt one at that.

Meanwhile as i write this some poor guy or girl is sitting in jail simply because they couldn't pay a 50 dollar parking ticket on time, while earning $5's a day there apartment has been evicted, there license is suspended indefinitely, they have lost there job, and will be released with nothing...most likely to become one of the millions unemployed and on welfare.

But lindsay serves 84 minutes and that's headline news....wow

what can we do to change that? as much as things could be better i do think this is the way life has always been. those who have money have power; however...ultimate power leads to ultimate distruction. these people may seem better off now but their going to die of an OD or live misrable hollow lives'. at least that man or woman in jail has a family crying for their loss and a broken heart. the people that have given their souls for money have no heart.(not that their arnt truely bad people in jail. their are.)
