Now that I've identified goggles as a rudis, I know he prefers cooler temps of around 70-75 F. Right now there's sort of a heatwave in southern California and the ambient temp in my room is about 80 F. I have placed a small fan a couple of feet away from his enclosure set to low. just enough that there is some movement in the leaves. Also, when I mist, it seems to help lower the temp. Is this a good way for me to cool down the enclosure? Any thoughts on cooling down a hot cham?
Note: he is basking and resting in his normal areas. If he is not trying to escape the heat, is there need for me to be concerned with cooling him off?
Also, info or rudis chams seems to be few and far between. Does anybody know of a care sheet somewhere. I'm interested in finding his ideal temp and humidity levels.
