Young Panthers and digging.....
Panthers that age often dig in soil, chew branches or leaves. One of two things.....he is hungry and saw a cricket/bug down there and is trying to find it. Or he is bored. Young Panthers seem to like to explore and "check things out". They seem curious at that age. They seem to grow out of it as they age. An older female will dig trying to lay eggs.
