OK so I have a 4 month old female Nosy Be Panther. She has been in my care for 1 month now and I have been free-ranging her crickets. I put 20 in the cage and I pull all of the un-eaten ones out at the end of the day and dispose of them. I have been keeping meticulous records of how many go in each day and how many come out / are eaten. She is ingesting 11-15 per day. Today I just cleaned her cage and I have retrieved 18?! And I am pretty sure I seen at least 1 more sneaking around so my best guess is she ate a big fat zero today. Should I be worried about this? I dust her crickets everyday with calcium -D3 - Phos, and have been dusting with Calcium +D3 every 2 weeks, and doing a Multivite every 2 weeks. I rotate the D3 and Multivite every Thursday. So basically, 1st Thursday of the month is multivite, next thursday D3, 3rd Thurs Multivite, you get the idea. I reviewed her monthly chart and I made a HUGE MISTAKE, I dusted with D3 last Thursday and today I dusted with D3 AGAIN, I accidentally picked up the D3 can instead of the multivite. So I honestly am glad she did not eat any crickets today. Besides that though she has acted perfectly fine today. Eyes are both open and she was roaming the cage all day and drinking water. There is a huge fresh poo at the bottom of the cage with snow white urate. I have also been weighing her weekly and she is gaining a gram per week so far. I don't know, love to hear some thoughts, I may be freaking out about nothing.
