Hi, I'm a new chameleon owner. I bought a baby (about 3 inchs) they tried saying she hatched 13 oct 2014 but very much doubt that!
I live in the UK and it's cold here *brrrr* ❄️
Her day time temps are 29 degrees ( 84.2 f ) top basking point
I turn it off to stimulate night but when I wake up it's about 13 degrees (55.4 f)
Is this temperature ok for her? Soon as I turn her heat lamp on she just baths under Neath it.
I wasn't sure if it was a steep drop or not
Someone suggested a habistat.

Thank you

As long as your nighttime temperatures aren't going under 45 degrees Fahrenheit (American :p) then you're fine. Temperature drops at night have shown increased activity and appetite during the day. Make sure you are measuring the temperatures around her cage as well as the basking spot, to make sure those are correct too. But it sounds like you're doing well.

Hi it's currently 7:45 pm here and the temperature where I am at the moment is 42.8 f, last night it dropped 6 degrees ( Celsius) in about half an hour. My room is above an extension (garage/shed type) my beardie and snake are fine but I wasn't sure about her.

Just gone down to 40 f ; according to my yahoo weather forcast on my phone.
Do I leave it off over night or set it so if it drops past a certain degree it comes on ?
