3 mo old veiled has leopard rings..?

He'll be lime green but when he gets annoyed he'll get black dots with black almost leopard rings. Has anyone else had there veiled baby do that? Sorry no pics cuz my phone won't allow me to upload them.

Its normal. Those are the spots babies have before they mature and get their adult colors. Females keep those spots and they turn yellow and sometimes blue.

What about the black rings tho? And just so I know, his body is the length of my thumb.. is he 3 months old about?

Does it look a little like my cham in this thread? https://www.chameleonforums.com/i-seem-obsessed-85333/ These were my boys colours when exploring, or if he got a lil stressed. They were there til he was 4 months or so

Yes actually very similar haha cool cool so did yours get larger at the 4 month mark?

yea, he went through a real growth spurt for a couple of months! He also started developing yellow stripes and blue spots. The black spots still appear when he gets really mad at me, but they're sort of hidden by his other markings.

Dang, yeah I'm exited! I just got him a couple weeks ago, and he seems way healthy. I love rrptiles and now I finally had the money for one.
