Wait just a minute here. You just can't say transformers is the "original" cartoon, what about Tom & Jerry, mighty mouse and a lot of other oldies. Those were where it all started.

ROBOTECH is awesome! I hope Tobey Maguire does not ruin the story when he makes the live action movie. I actually have not seen GITS.

I'm going to have to check them out. I just finished watching the Last Airbender series. These cartoons/anime has a great story lines for cartoons. I find its good to watch the cartoons first as they end up with the most complete story lines compared to the live action movies.

No. I am looking for a good series though. I just finished Monster not to long ago. That was interesting. Im not sure about the last airbender stuff
It you say its really really good Ill check it out though. I like the more political storylines though. I wish I could find something more like GITS and Patlabor that I havent seen already

someone likes ghost in the shell. i never really got into SAC.

i havent seen any decent anime in recent years. but maybe thats for failuer to be looking.

deathnote and tenjho tenge are much better in manga format. i hate when i see decent shows goes to shit after the first episode. i was really into bleach for a while in japanese, they i watched it in english and it totally ruined it for me.

i liked berserk in the beginning i dont dont really like how the story progressed. and the end was just terrible. imo

my top five series are probably cowboy bebop, trigun, yu yu hakusho, fooly cooly, and maybe outlaw star.

any other anime nerds wanna recommend something i should see? anything more recent?

and omfg has anyone seen the most recent remake of evangelion?

the quality of the animation and the concepts for the redone angels are just awesome. its essentially the same show, just much better. same characters voice actors ect. just new and fresh.

im going to stab you repeatedly for thos words against yu yu hakusho have you even ever seen the dark tournament and chapter black?

heres a sweet fight from the 2.22 evangelion, i think all thats out so far for the new series is 1.11 and 2.22

i wouldnt watch past 4 min becuase of major spoilers.

oh and i actually purchased samurai 7 i hate the integration of the cgi with the animation, i dodnt even think i watched the first episode through. same reason i should like heat guy J more, the integration of the cgi feels awkward, its not seamless like in that evangelion clip
