1 week old Jackson

yesterday we acquired a 1 week old Jackson. All of the other babies had died. We were hoping to give this little guy a chance... but I'm not very optimistic that hell survive.
He will eat flighless fruit flies, and is drinking water. He doesn't seem very active (although I'm not sure how active they should be at this age).
The area under his chin is a red, and he seems to have what looks like a scab on his back right side.

We have had veiled chameleons in the past, but never any this young and we have no experience with Jacksons.

Here's a picture of the poor little guy.

My young veiled had a scab on his side. It took a month or so to heal and fall off. I didn't bother with it as I know better than to pick a scab.

He doesn't look unhealthy. Keep him on the fruit flies until he can handle pin heads and blue bottles.

the coloring under the chin is normal, many jacksons have that.

i cant see a scab.

what are your basking temps, and how much do you mist?

1 week is way to young to be rehomed.. why did you get him so young?
