Are gravid?

The lady had housed all three together well actually a big group together. How do I tell if the females are gravid? The one female is about a year old and the other is about 2 years ( if I remember correctly)

Right now they are still sitting in my office until I get off work in about 4 hours. They are currently freeranging in my abundance of plants in the window :) I really wish I had my camera for this.

They are definately not the color of the one on the left.

What worries me is the one female is a bit small. I dont think she should have been bred at the size she is.

I will get some more pics of them this afternoon after I get home from work. They have cleaned up a little since they have been here.

the one on the right was gravid also. so they do not always show gravid coloration. another less common form of gravid coloration, the one on the right would sometimes display, was black spots, sort of dremensis looking, but i dont think that is a very common form of gravid coloration. if you suspect she is gravid then it would be a good idea to have a digital scale on hand. if you dont already have one you can a suitable one for under $20 it should weigh to at least a .1 increments and have a tare feature (most do). any healthy gravid xanth should gain significant weight each week, which of course grows expotentially as her term progresses, by mid to late term its not uncommon to gain several grams in a single week. jmo

I do have a digital scale so I will get a weight on them in the next few days. And then weekly after that. They are both eating and drinking very well. They are getting a mixture of roaches, crickets, wax worms and butter worms.

And what I meant to say on my last post was they are definately not the color of the one on the right.
