1.2 chameleons?

Hi guys
I noticed that at the bottom of people's posts there's often a list of pets that reads stuff like 1.2 chameleons, 1.4 tortoises etc. Now, in my head I'm thinking it means that someone has 1 and half chams, which is clearly wrong lol. Can someone explain what it means please? Thanks!

This usually refers to the number and sex of the animals example 1.2 meaning 1 male 2 females. sometimes there is a third number and those are usually unsexed.

ok, I'm gonna try this out, all my pets are male. I have 1 cat, 2 hamsters, 2 axolotls, 1 cham & 1 hedgehog.

So it's:

1.0 cats, 2.0 dwarf russian hamsters, 2.0 axolotls, 1.0 veiled chameleon, 1.0 pygmy african hedgehog

How do I add this to mine. Is it the signature thingy?

Look up their skirts. if they don't have skirts, it's a boy.
