I haven't had my chameleon for about a year now, and recently discovered these items in storage. The cage has a small hole in the top from the misting system, and the panel that goes in the bottom has a hole in it for drainage purposes.
The MistKing system consists of the pump, a good amount...
I've been running a MistKing setup for about a year now (on tap water) and the nozzle finally clogged. I'm sure it's the nozzle, I've taken apart all the fittings and checked each one, the pump pushes plenty of water...it just won't go through the nozzle. I've read about soaking it in vinegar or...
Yep, finally went to Lowe's and picked up the dual fixture they have and one of the 6500k bulbs...like two days after getting it set up there were tons of new leaves coming out of my umbrella plant. Now (about a week later), it looks like a totally new plant and there are basically no leaves...
The other day I was at the local pet store and they had their Reptisun 5.0's on sale for freakin' $9, so I bought two of them, lol. My question is...will they go bad just sitting around the house? Say if one sits there for a year or more before I use it will it be less efficient?
Thanks!
Brandon
This is Garrett, my 5 and a half month old Blue Bar Ambilobe male. This pic is not totally recent, it was taken right when he turned 5 months old. He has had a shed since this...I'll have to take some new pictures up later. He is the offspring of Wembley from Chamalot Chams. He has changed TONS...
Well the order and installation was a great success. How long do you guys usually let the mister run each time? I don't have any problems with humidity levels, if anything it goes too high while misting. So...strictly for cham hydration...what is a good length for each mist? 30 seconds? 2...
There are a few of these at the local wal-mart...they look basically the same as arboricola schefflera aside from yellow markings on the leaves, and they have more of a tree trunk look coming out of the ground than a green stem. Anyone know if these are safe or not??
Thanks,
Brandon
My male panther chameleon is about 5 and a half months old...is he old enough for blue bottles? Probably a stupid question, but I know they are larger than house flies and was just wondering exactly HOW much larger...just don't want flies as big as my cham in there =)
Thanks so much in...
I have a MistKing on the way and I know it comes with instructions on how to make a reservoir...but I would kinda like to have it done (as much as possible) before the mister arrives. It seems simple enough but I couldn't find a thread about it. Pics/tips would be greatly appreciated =)...
Well, after a couple months of hand spraying...I've decided to go ahead and try a misting system. My panther is in a 16x16x30 now but will be moving to the 24x24x48 in a few months. I'm going with Mist King of course, but I have a couple questions before I buy:
1.) Will the $100 starter kit...
My panther is right at the 5 month mark and still eats everything that I give him...what is a good age to start feeding every other day?
Thanks,

Hello everyone, my name is Brandon. New member...but not necessarily new to the forum as I've been using this site as the staple of my research for a couple weeks now, lol. So first off, thank everyone for your wealth of knowledge.
My question concerns draining. Has anyone tried a single hold...
