    Expected Recovery Time for Dehydration

Thanks a ton for responses guys. He is still completely sapped of energy, but I will continue to force feed water. If he is not showing signs of improvement by tomorrow mid-morning I think I will take him to the vet. I can't thank you enough for the advice on how to treat him.

    Expected Recovery Time for Dehydration

To be clear what is very quickly? Within hours? I have had his cage outside under screened patio in Florida. Humidity in the cage dropped over the last 2 weeks. He stopped eating and I misdiagnosed as a hunger strike, when I believe he just wasn't getting enough water.

    Signs of Dehydration/Hydration

The reason for my concern is that I have not been able to remove him from his cage to give him a shower. He stresses out and fires up as soon as I attempt to remove him. Based on the info provided I think he is in good shape, but was hoping you guys might be able to confirm: pics

    Cricket Feeder Questions

Thanks for the info guys. Yes the electrical tape was to protect his tongue but melting would've worked too. I ended up just using a plastic Solo cup. The crickets have yet to escape, but my cham hasn't been able to figure out to eat out of it - granted he did just arrive today!

    Cricket Feeder Questions

Got it! Thanks for those pics Jayce. I will be adding screening and switching out the bottle for an opaque milk carton or sunny d container. I love the idea of decorating around the feeder. Are those fake flowers?

    Cricket Feeder Questions

Thanks! I guess it is pretty easy to just scoop them by hand. I figured they would just hop out of the feeder. I was planning on mounting this thing in the cage and dropping the crickets inside:

    Cricket Feeder Questions

So I built a cricket feeder out on orange juice bottle and will be getting my cham on Tuesday. Question is how do you guys get the crickets out of the keeper, into a cup for dusting, and then into the feeder in the cage? Also, once in the feeder, how long can they possibly stay in there...
